Over the past year, a particularly bright spotlight has been placed on the importance of employee perks in the workplace.
A 2018 survey by Clutch found that companies that offer additional perks to their employees—such as wellness programs or meal plan options—have seen increased efficiency, reduced turnover, and an uptick in positive company culture overall.
The study also revealed that two out of five companies offer no employee perks at all. However, 53% of those who do have access to a variety of perks, from free cereal in-office to more flexible working hours, say that those perks give them a better quality of life.
Zestful’s mission is to make it easier for companies of all sizes to give this better quality of life to their entire workforce.
Following our recent funding round, our team has been investing heavily in our product to ensure a more user-friendly experience for new and current customers alike.
As a result, we’ve completely redesigned the way individuals create Zestful perk Programs, added popular perk templates that users can quickly select and implement for their team, and added a functionality that allows companies to customize their in-platform experience.
There are four types of Programs in Zestful: Allowances, birthdays & anniversaries, Peer to Peer, and starting balances.
Previously, admins in Zestful had separate tabs for some Programs within their dashboard, making the process of offering new perks to their team clunky, confusing, and time-consuming. Now, all Programs are located in one central location (under the “Programs” tab).
The new homepage enables the filtering of Programs by type, team, or person. Admins can also view and edit Programs within this dashboard, including changing amounts, recipients, and what the Program can be used on, post-creation.
Additionally, our new and improved builder makes it easier for admins to create new, completely custom perks for their teams. Users now have one place to build new perks by choosing a Program from our “Most popular” tab, or creating a new Program completely from scratch (which features a new, much smoother workflow).
Allowances are the most robust and customizable Program type in Zestful. Formerly, the downside of this also meant that the process of customizing a new Allowance took more steps than necessary. Because of this, we’ve revamped the Allowance creation flow to offer a shiny, new, more simplified process.
In the new Allowance flow, there are expandable customizations and a new “advanced” modal, allowing customers to choose as few or as many options as they’d like.
In just a few clicks—and in real-time—you can now trick out your company’s dashboard. Simple choose a color (or add your own) and upload your own logo to show in-platform. 🎨
And, as if that’s not enough, we’ve also given our site a bit of a facelift. 😍
